Opening of kindergarden class of the society's school at D5, Sarvodaya CHS Ltd -space provided- kind courtesy Shri C. S. Subramanian, the then member of the council of management.

Opening of std I in the garage of the compound of Shakti Niwas CHS Ltd Sanghani Estate
Dec 1963
Agreement entered into for the purchase of land for the school building. March 1966 foundation stone laid by late Shri M. Madhavan, the then mayor of Mumbai.
June 1967
Kindergarden class shifted to E3 Sarvodaya CHS kind courtesy Shri S. K. Moorthy the then member of the council of management. The secondary section innugurated at the new premises at Rifle Range, Ghatkopar West.

Recognition of the Secondary Section by the Government of Maharashtra

Inauguration of "Sanchayika" Students Savings Bank by Shri R. G. Khedekar, National Savings Commissioner
Dec 1972
Inauguration of the Science Laboratory named in memory of the late Shri. M. S. Subbarama Sastri of Musiri by Shri H. H. Swami Dayanandji of Chinmaya Mission

First Batch of 34 Students appeared for the SSC Examination
Aug 1975
Awarded certificate for outstanding performance (100% results) in the first SSC (new course) examination by the lions club of Ghatkopar.
Aug 1976
Awarded trophy for securing the highest percentage of success from amongst the Ghatkopar schools.
Jan 1977
Delegation of 35 teachers from Japan visit our school. NMWS school was one of the only two schools selected for the purpose by the consul of Japan.

School Designated as High School
Oct 1984
Late Shri V. K. Krishna Menon inter school contest was introduced.
Nov 1984
Introduced the V. K. Krishna Menon Inter-School English Oratorical Contest held every year and prizes awarded. Rotating Shield given to the winning School
